Assistant usage

Every plan includes Assistant Credits. Paid plans can enable capped on-demand usage from Billing.

Included usage

PlanAssistant Credits per monthOn-demand available
Free10No
Hobbyist100Yes, off by default
Pro500Yes, off by default

Included credits reset each month and do not roll over. On yearly plans, Dodo grants 1,200 Hobbyist credits or 6,000 Pro credits for the term. Tradee still limits access to 100 or 500 credits in each monthly usage period.

What is billable

Hosted App Default Assistant calls and hosted Assistant strategy-node model calls consume Assistant Credits. This includes model work for chat turns, automatic backtest follow-ups, conversation titles, and strategy-node inference.

Requests, token counts, and backtested candles on Usage are informational. Other product activity, such as backtests, strategies, bots, executions, API outputs, and webhook deliveries, is not Assistant usage billing.

BYOK usage

Conversations and Assistant strategy-node calls that use your own BYOK agent do not consume included credits and do not create Tradee usage charges. You pay your model provider directly.

On-demand usage

Hobbyist and Pro users can enable on-demand usage after included credits run out. It costs $0.10 per extra Assistant Credit and is off by default. You must set a monthly dollar cap of at least $1. Billing suggests $5, $10, $25, and $50 caps, or you can enter another amount. There is no unlimited option.

If on-demand is off or the cap is reached, hosted Assistant calls stop until the next monthly period or until you raise the cap.

Where to review and manage usage

Open Settings → Usage for activity, included credits, and on-demand spend. Open Settings → Billing to enable on-demand usage, change its cap, manage payment methods, download invoices, or cancel at period end. The Assistant page and popup do not show a remaining-credit balance.

Assistant usage is available through plan inclusion, paid on-demand usage, or BYOK. Included credits do not become a permanent balance.
